    How to connect and configure a device to use VoIPtalk

    Learn how to get your device connected and configured to use VoIPtalk to make voice calls over the internet.

    In this guide there are general instructions for configuring a device to use VoIPtalk.

    1. Ensure the device is switched on and connected to a network.

    2. On your device's configuration page enter:
      SIP Server, SIP Registrar or SIP Domain: voiptalk.org
      SIP User ID: VoIPTalk ID (eg 84411076)
      SIP Passwordsix-digit VoIPTalk Password (Not account password)
      Outbound Proxy: nat.voiptalk.org:5065
      IP Address: nat.voiptalk.org and Port number: 5065

    3. Save these settings and confirm their values after a reboot.

    4. Dial 902 to confirm your configuration. 

    If you encounter any issues, ensure your Router + Firewall are not blocking VoIP traffic specifically on ports 5060 and 5065. Also ensure that the router is not blocking UDP traffic.
