In order to enable the 'Instant Recording' feature on PBXware, the extension needs to have 'Call Recording' set to 'No' and 'Instant Recording' enabled in 'Enhance Services'.
When the user makes an outbound call they will need to press *159 into their keypad to begin the recording and then at any time they can dial *159 to cut the recording or they can just hang up the phone and the recording will stop. *159 can also be used many times throughout the call to start and stop the call recording as required.
If call recording is enabled on the extension by default they cannot disable it by dialling *159.
'Instant Recording' does not work for inbound calls, only outbound.
