Can I call the police non-emergency number 101?

This article shows you how to use the police non-emergency number 101, as well as listing the key times you should dial it.

101 is the number to call when you want to contact your local police in England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland - when it's less urgent than a 999 call.

VoIP allows callers to be nomadic and therefore the concept of local does not apply to VoIP calls. It is not possible to accurately place calls to the correct local police force and therefore calling 101 is not currently enabled.
