    How to use your DrayTek router with the Red service

    Learn to set up your DrayTek router with Red's service, unlocking the full potential of your connection.

    This guide will help you to configure you DrayTek router with a SIP ID from the Red service.


    1. Once logged in to your device navigate to: IP PBX > TrunksSIP Trunk

    2. Select the 'Index' that you wish to configure:


    3. Configure these settings:
      Profile Active: Enable
      Profile Name: Give the SIP Trunk a suitable name
      Domain/Realm: draytel.org
      Proxy: draytel.org
      Proxy Port: Set this to 5060
      Display Name: Set this to the desired SIP caller ID
      Account Number/Name: Enter the account number of your Red account
      Password: Set this to the password for the SIP Trunk

    4. Click OK to save and apply these settings.

    5. To see the status of the trunk, go to IP PBX > Trunks > SIP Trunk then see the character in the 'Status' column.
      R - the SIP Trunk is registered and can be used to make and receive calls.    - - Indicates that the SIP Trunk is configured to register and is currently not registered. It cannot be used to make or receive calls in this state.
