I think the problem could be that maybe - If both of your monitoring phones have separate gateways
and they are within about 60m of each other it would be good if you could change the default PIN
which is 0000 on the handset/gateway so that the handset does not try and register to wrong gateway.

    Set/Change PIN:
    On the handset
1.Select Settings / System Settings. Enter access code/PIN code and press the OK key.
Select Access Code and press the OK key.
2.Enter the new 4-digit PIN, press the OK key, and confirm with the function key Yes when prompted
    by the display.
    3.Reset the gateway.

If you had previously changed the PIN on both gateways to unique numbers, could you please advise me
and I will look at this again.

    regards
Please change the PIN on the gateway from the default 0000:
    1. menu - settings - press ok
    2. choose VOIP settings - press ok - enter the default PIN 0000 - press ok
    3. choose change PIN code - press ok
    4. enter new PIN - press ok
    5. press Yes soft key to confirm change of PIN
    6. press Back key two times to return to main menu
    7. save a copy of the new PIN to a document on your \\share
Reboot the phone and see if it syncs to gateway

Check the status of the handset - top left hand corner.
If the status is showing black\black it means that it is out of range of the gateway.
As the gateway is nearby, we will need to check that the gateway has the same PIN.

    1. Logon to the phone IP via a web browser. To find IP on handset press the volume UP key.
    2. Go to Advanced settings page. In Security section enter the new 4-digit PIN in the AC Code field.
    3. Press Save and Reboot phone.

Check to see if status of phone has changed to orange/black or orange/orange.

If still black/black, do a reset

    1. menu - settings - press ok
    2. system settings - press ok - enter PIN - press ok
    3. reset gateway - press ok
    4. press Yes soft key when asked to reset
    5. gateway will restart with new configuration

Check status. If still black\black do following

If not, do a reset of the phone:

The firmware version is up to date and is the latest version.
Firstly can we try a reset of the gateway to reload the configuration:
    1. menu - settings - press ok
    2. system settings - press ok - enter PIN - press ok
    3. reset gateway - press ok
    4. press Yes soft key when asked to reset
    5. gateway will restart with new configuration.

If this doesn't work, we will have to try a recover (Reset to Factory Default) . Please advise firmware version
    before we try this.
